•  Place your hands in the hands of the LORD for an assured victory.
•  The LORD gains victory for those who will depend and obey Him.
•   Like David in 1Kgs.17, you have a role to play in this victory. Shoot an arrow, throw a sling etc. Faith never fails and God honors faith.

My Prayer:

•    O Lord send fresh revival of genuine faith to the ends of the earth.

•     Let the gate of salvation be opened that many nations may find their way into it.

•     Let the resultant righteous living be the hallmark of 2014 in the nations

THREE THINGS YOU MUST DO!

  1.Vs.18: Forget the Former Things-Don’t dwell on the Past.

*The LORD said, stop looking back but look up-IT IS A NEW DAY!

*Phil.3:13 …Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead; I press on…towards the goal.

*Forget the past? God wants us to walk in faith.. 2Cor.5:7 " We live by faith, not by sight." 

2. Vs.19a:  Perceive What God is Doing.

" Life is the movie you see through your own eyes.  It makes little difference what's happening out there. It's how you take it that counts." (Denis Waitley)

*2Kgs 4:23 The woman said “It is well..”. She was in a precarious situation with the death of her only son but chose to see through the eyes of the LORD.

* There is certainty in God’s voice. “Now it springs up,,”

*  Psalm 119;140 “Your promises have been thoroughly tested,and your servant loves them. 

      3. Vs.19b: Believe What You Perceive God is Doing.

       * What? I am making a way in the desert and providing 
             streams in the desert.

        *Jer.32:17 “Ah Sovereign Lord…nothing is too hard for you."

        *  Jer.32:27 “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is   anything too hard for me?”
